All Four Home Teams Win in Friday @ASUNVolleyball Action

ATLANTA, Ga. - Friday's ASUN Conference Volleyball action featured wins by all four home teams. Lipscomb and Stetson recorded sweeps while Kennesaw State and North Florida each earned wins in four sets. Both the Hatters and Bisons extended their winning streaks to four matches. This was the third win in a row for the Ospreys.

The Hatters took the first two sets 25-15 and the third set 25-9 to sweep the Highlanders and win their fourth match in a row. The team's .471 attack percentage was the second-highest single-match total in school history and the team's highest total in an ASUN match. Hatter Elena Djokovic led all players with 14 kills while hitting .545 for the match while teammate Riley Nieporte recorded nine kills. Madi Busler tallied seven kills for NJIT and Olivia Welsch had 11 digs.

Lipscomb recorded its fourth straight sweep in conference play after defeating Jacksonville. The Bisons were led by Maddie Phillips who had 14 kills and Morgan Elmore who recorded 37 assists. Lipscomb's Alyssa Zwolensky and Ashley Maher both ended with double-digit digs by tallying 15 and 11, respectively. Jacksonville's Lexi Wierzbicki ended with 10 kills while Natalie Martin had 19 assists and Natalie Wehner earned 15 digs.

The Owls' victory over the Flames improved their record to 6-1 in ASUN play. Lauren Chastang had a double-double in the match for KSU with 23 kills and 10 digs. Three other Owls had double-digit kills in Quin Sutphin (13), Dani Ballou (12) and Jasmine Brown (12). Brown also recorded seven blocks while Lexi Broadwater had 52 assists. Amelia Johnson had 14 kills for the Flames and Hannah Morris added 34 assists and 12 digs.

After splitting the first two sets, the Ospreys finished off the Lions in four to earn their third-straight victory. Solimar Cestero and Maddie Norris both recorded double-digit kills for UNF with 18 and 11, respectively. ASUN Defensive Player of the Week Rocio Moro tallied 14 kills for the Ospreys. Claire Bullington led the Lions with eight kills while Christina Ellwanger added seven. Mackenzie Sullivan recorded 14 digs for the Lions.
