 Liberty collected its first-ever ASUN Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship as the Flames totaled 187 points to finish ahead of Jacksonville (149) and Kennesaw State (109). KSU's Jordan Gray earned Championship Most Valuable Performer honors for the second time in her career as she scored 38 points across five events.

The Flames came away with three event wins on the track in the 60-meter Hurdles (Jada Smith) to go along with relay victories in the Distance Medley Relay and 4x400. Liberty swept the throwing events with Naomi Mojica (Shot Put) and Chelsea Igberaese (Weight Throw), while Taylen Langin set the championship record in the Pole Vault by 0.01 meters. 

The Dolphins registered four event victories including podium sweeps in the 60 & 200 meter dashes. Jackie Baldwin joined KSU's Gray as the only individuals to capture an event four times in her career as she won the 60m dash in 7.43. Savyon Toombs tackled the 200m & 400m events with times of 23.90 and 53.98 as she set the championship record in the 200. Hayleigh Palotti added a first-place showing in the Mile Run with her time of 4:58.60.

All four of KSU's event gold medals came in field events with two courtesy of Gray (Long Jump; Pentathlon). Da'Yona Henry picked up the Triple Jump title with a top distance of 12.36m and Julija Tarvide leapt to a winning height of 1.75m in the high jump. Lipscomb's Courtney Brenner tallied wins in the 3000m & 5000m runs, while North Florida's Sonja Andenmatten crossed the line first in the 800m.

For the first time in history, the ASUN Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship will feature a broadcast element as the league office has partnered with Liberty University and its on-campus broadcast studio to air a Championship Studio Recap Show on ESPN+. The live recap show is set for Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 7 PM ET once the conference meet concludes. 

Hosted by Mike Hagen and Todd Patulski, the ASUN Indoor Championship Studio Recap on ESPN+ will feature footage from throughout the championship including interviews from trophy winners and the league's Championship's Most Valuable Performers. The hour-long studio recap expands the league's ESPN championship coverage to a 12th sport and is the first-ever ASUN Track & Field broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
