    ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Esther Lovato was named the ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the first time in her career, announced Wednesday by the league office. The freshman won both of her matches in the Flames' contest against No. 39 Furman last week.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Four teams earned victories for ASUN Conference Women's Tennis squads as 2020 season rolled on through its sixth week. Stetson's three wins this week all came in sweeps of Bethune-Cookman, Rollins and Florida A&M. FGCU improved its record to .500 with road wins over Georgia Southern on Friday and Mercer on Saturday.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - North Florida's Lucia Montano was named the ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career, announced Wednesday by the league office. The senior won both of her matches in the Ospreys' contest against No. 24 Florida last week by defeating McCartney Kessler who was ranked 52nd in the ITA Division I Women's Singles Rankings.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Five teams earned victories for ASUN Conference Women's Tennis squads in last week's action. NJIT completed a 7-0 sweep over Wagner then defeated LIU Brooklyn 5-2 to remain unbeaten inside the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreation Facility. Kennesaw State and Lipscomb both earned the teams' first wins of the season downing ASA Miami and IUPUI, respectively.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Kalani Soli was named the ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced Wednesday by the league office. Soli became the first student-athlete from the Liberty to capture the award three times after leading the Flames in matches against FIU and FAU. This also marks her second honor of the season.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - FGCU, NJIT, North Florida and Stetson earned victories for ASUN Conference Women's Tennis squads over the past weekend. For the first time since the 2009-10 season, North Florida sits with a 5-0 record after UNF bounced back from a 1-0 deficit and a 45-minute rain delay to defeat South Alabama and extend their winning streak. FGCU and Stetson were victorious against Florida A&M and Troy, respectively while NJIT completed a sweep of Connecticut.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Micaela Ode Mitre was named the ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Wednesday by the league office. Ode Mitre played a part in the Flames' victory over Navy by capturing wins in doubles and singles action. Her defeat of Samantha Choi, ranked 114th nationally, led to the first weekly honor of her career.
