    ATLANTA, Ga. - North Alabama's Olivia Noah and Jaida Bond, as well as Alexis Poole of Kennesaw State, were at the top of their game in season debuts, playing their way to being selected as the first ASUN Conference Women's Basketball weekly award winners of the 2019-20 season, announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Poole was named Player of the Week, Noah was tabbed Newcomer of the Week while her teammate Bond was selected as the Freshman of the Week.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Four ASUN Conference Women's Basketball teams took to the court with Jacksonville, Kennesaw State and North Florida each winning their home openers. North Alabama was also in action tonight for their second home contest of the season. NJIT is in action tomorrow as they are on the road against Colorado.

Kennesaw State and North Alabama open their seasons on Thursday night with a road contest against Georgia and a home game against Virginia-Lynchburg, respectively.
