Baker & Collier Take Home @ASUNWBB Weekly Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Ashytn Baker and Lipscomb's Casey Collier landed the second-to-last set of ASUN Conference Women's Basketball weekly awards, announced Tuesday by the league office. Baker guided the Flames to two-straight routs at home as Liberty locked up a home game in the ASUN Championship, while Collier helped the Bisons upset North Florida on the road behind an all-around performance by the freshman guard.


Women's Basketball Players of the Week
Ashytn Baker, Liberty
Junior | Guard | Nesbitt, Miss.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; third all-time for Liberty and first of the season
- Averaged 21 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 3.5 APG and 1.5 SPG in a 2-0 week for Liberty in blowout wins vs. Stetson and North Florida
- Scored 16 with five boards and six assists in 73-53 victory vs. Hatters on Saturday; shooting 6-of-10 from the floor and 2-of-2 from deep
- Followed with 26 points in a 76-54 hoe rout of North Florida; adding four boards and two steals
- Clinched Liberty a home game in the ASUN Championship Quarterfinals with two games remaining

- Averaged 16 PPG, 5 RPG & 5 APG in a 1-1 week for the Bisons which included a road victory at North Florida on Saturday
- Racked up 21 points, five boards and seven assists in 73-66 victory at North Florida, while hitting 9-of-10 from the charity stripe
- Added 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal against Jacksonville on Monday night
- Bisons are locked in as the No. 8 seed in the upcoming ASUN Championship and face top-seeded FGCU
