LEADERBOARD: No. 13 North Florida men's golf made a seven shot improvement and climbed into sixth place in Tuesday's second round of play at the NCAA Louisville Regional.

- Junior Michael Mattiace was the squad's top performer carding a 2-under 69 to move into a tie for 21st at 143
- Senior Philip Knowles finished with a 1-over 72 to share team leading honors with Mattiace at T21 (143)
- Senior Jordan Batchelor fired an even-par 71 earning him a tie for 28th at 145
- Senior Travis Trace ended the round tied for 41st (147) following his second round 74, while senior Andrew Alligood trimmed five shots off his opening round total to shoot a 73 for a tie in 60th (151)
- North Florida moved up two spots on the team leaderboard with a second round 1-over 285 and now rank 6th with a 36-hole total of 577

- Mattiace carded his lowest career round at the NCAA Tournament with his 68 | It marked his 10th career round in the 60s

- UNF owns a total of 29 birdies thru two rounds of the regional with four players (Knowles, Trace, Mattiace, Alligood) sharing the team lead with six each
- Batchelor had pretty consistent round posting bogeys on his first and last holes while collecting a pair of birdies and 14 pars over the remainder of the round
- As a team, North Florida carded 110 pars paced by 24 from Batchelor and Mattiace
- The Top 5 teams in the regional advance to the NCAA Championship | The Ospreys are currently six strokes behind fifth place Louisville with 18 holes of play remaining

No. 3 regional seed North Florida concludes play at the NCAA Louisville Regional with a final round on Wednesday. UNF will play alongside Iowa State and Louisville starting at 8 a.m. from Hole 10.
