MACON, Ga. - For the second-straight season, FGCU defeated Massachusetts as the Eagles topped the Minutemen on Rajyon Tucker's game-winning driving bucket and foul. A freshman, Tucker drove down the left side of the lane with 13 seconds left converting the running jumper as he was fouled on the shot.

Massachusetts' managed a three-point attempt for the win with three seconds remaining, but were unable to connect. The victory moved the Eagles to 6-4 on the season as Marc-Eddy Norelia led the way with 20 points, while Tucker contributed 15 points with seven rebounds.

FGCU led at the break, 42-37, but UMass made a charge in the second session shooting 14-of-30 from the field behind 14 points from Donte Clark. Christian Terrell managed nine second-half points to finish with 14 for the game, while 10 of Tucker's 15 points came in the second half. Demetris Morant nearly collected a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
