ATLANTA, GA. - ASUN Conference Baseball marches forward this weekend, as all nine of the league's squads are in action. Eight of the teams square of in conference play, while league leader Liberty steps out of conference this week. FGCU and Jacksonville highlight the weekend slate, as they sit #2 and #3 in the ASUN standings.

- FGCU enters the weekend in sole possession of second place in the ASUN standings. The Eagles welcome instate foe, Jacksonville to Swanson Stadium this weekend
- Infielder Jay Hayes paces the Eagles in both homers, RBIs and slugging percentage, as he has eight homers, 40 RBIs and a SLG% of .652
- Mason Studstill ranks second in the ASUN in ERA with a mark of 1.45. He's surrendered just nine ER over 56 innings of work this season

Kennesaw State Owls (17-21; 17-21)

- The Owls travel down to the Sunshine State this weekend for a ASUN series with Stetson. KSU has won four of the last six meetings with Stetson
- Garrett Hodges leads the squad with six homers and 28 knocked in. Jake Franklin is not far behind with five jacks and 23 RBIs
- Kennesaw State has proved to be one of the best offenses in the ASUN ranking top three in BA, H, HR, SLG%, and total bases

- Liberty, the leaders atop the ASUN standings, take a week off from conference play to host North Carolina A&T in Lynchburg
- The Flames lead the ASUN Conference and is eigth nationally with a 2.89 ERA. The Flames also are 12th nationally in WHIP (1.16) and seventh in hits allowed per nine innings (6.71)
- Liberty owns the all-time series over the Aggies with a 16-1 mark. The Flames and NC A&T last met in 2012, winning the game 6-2

Lipscomb Bisons (19-17, 3-6)

- Lipscomb rides into the weekend on a four-game win streak, the Bisons have outscored their opponents 51-18 over their four-game stretch
- The Bisons have a penchant for the big hit, leading the conference with nine triples heading into the weekend. Maddux Houghton is tied for the league lead with four triples
- Houghton (.357), Chris Bashlor (.356) and Zeke Dodson (.321) rank one, two and three in batting average on the team, while first basemen Cade Sorrells leads the squad with 38 RBIs

NJIT Highlanders (11-18-1; 3-9)

- NJIT returns home to the Garden State this weekend to host Lipscomb. It marks the start of a seven game stretch of games played in New Jersey
- Sophomore Julio Marcano has already set a career-highs in home runs and RBIs with four and 20 respectively 
- Freshman David Helmkamp leads the Highlanders in batting average (.339), hits (37), on-base (.421) and is tied for stolen bases with six

North Alabama Lions (10-26; 4-8)

- Reid Homan garnered UNA's first-ever ASUN Baseball Player of the Week award. Homan knocked in four runs and hit .500 last week for the Lions
- Senior Davis Elliot continues to be the top bat in the North Alabama lineup as he is hitting .281 with a team best four homers and .378 on base percentage

North Florida Ospreys (22-16; 7-5)

- Jay Prather paces the league with a .384 average and owns a .463 on base percentage with 36 runs scored
- Brad Deppermann took home ASUN Pitcher of the Week honors this week. The righty has gone at least seven innings in each of his last three starts

Stetson Hatters (16-19; 5-4)

- Shortstop Jorge Arenas has continued to be a steady presence in the Stetson lineup, with a .298 average with a team best three homers and 25 RBIs
