ATLANTA, Ga. - North Florida's Jay Prather and Jacksonville's Nick Love came up big in the third week  of the regular season and have been named ASUN Conference Baseball weekly award winners, announced by the league offices on Monday.

Prather becomes the second-straight Osprey to earn Player of the Week honors after helping North Florida to a 3-2 week including two wins against FAU, a 2018 NCAA Tournament team, in the midweek. Prather finished the week going 10-20 at the dish with seven runs scored, a homer, four RBIs and three doubles. He also had four multi-hit games, and now has six on the season. In the week's opening game against FAU, Prather ripped two doubles and knocked in two runs to lead UNF to victory. He also dazzled with the glove, as he made all 11 plays in the field. Prather has yet to commit an error in 13 games this season.

For the second-straight week a freshman takes home Pitcher of the Week, as Jacksonville's Nick Love secures the honor. Love was vital out of the 'pen in Jacksonville's 8-5 victory against UCF. The freshman righty tossed 3.1 innings of perfect baseball, allowing no runs, no hits and no walks, while striking out five of the 10 batters he faces.
